Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences started its work in 1365 by accepting 260 students in three fields and two study levels in the form of two faculties, and now there are nearly 1957 students in 19 fields and 7 study levels, clinical doctorate, Ph.D., Ph.D. Professional, master’s degree, continuous and non-continuous bachelor’s degree, associate degree and are studying in 6 faculties of medicine, paramedicine, new technologies, health, nursing and midwifery in Shahrekord and Borujen medical sciences faculty.

Faculties
Shahrekord Medical School
Shahrekord Medical School started its work in 1365 by admitting 110 medical students and continued its educational activity since 1366 independently and as the first faculty of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences. Currently, it accepts medical students in two semesters. This faculty has teaching assistants for basic medical and clinical sciences, administrative-financial assistant and research assistant. This faculty has specialty courses in 5 fields of internal medicine, pediatric surgery, anesthesia and gynecology, and a general doctorate course in the field of medicine and a master’s course in the fields of parasitology, microbiology, human genetics, and immunology.
Dental College
Shahrekord School of Dentistry was opened in 2013 and started working at the beginning of the academic year 2014 with the admission of 20 students in the dental professional doctorate.
Faculty of Health
This faculty has 3 educational groups which are: Educational Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Educational Department of Public Health, Educational Department of Environmental Health Engineering. This faculty had 1,699 graduates by the end of the second half of 1391-1390.
School of Nursing and Midwifery
This faculty has continuous and non-continuous bachelor’s degrees in nursing, bachelor’s degree in midwifery, associate degree in midwifery and bachelor’s degree in operating room.
Borojan Faculty of Medical Sciences
This faculty has bachelor’s degrees in continuous nursing, associate degree and bachelor’s degree in emergency medicine and bachelor’s degree in operating room. In 1370, it started operating in Borujen city under the name of nursing faculty, and then in 1401, it became the faculty of medical sciences.
