Introduction
Kerman University of Medical Sciences, together with its self-governing campus, provides health and treatment services to people in addition to educational activities. This university was established in 1978, which started its activity by accepting 50 students in the medical field at the very beginning.
This university has 6136 students, 515 professors and 557 faculty members. Based on the research done , 2172 scientific articles have been published in domestic publications and congress [of which 1047 journal articles and 1125 conference articles] and 7873 internationally recognized articles have been published by Kerman University of Medical Sciences. So far, 7 congress have been held by Kerman University of Medical Sciences.

Central Library: The central library and document center of Kerman University of Medical Sciences is one of the largest libraries of medical sciences in Kerman, which was established in 1987. The area of the library is 800 square meters and it is located in the Abu Ali Sina building, located in Afzalipur Engineering Medical School. Currently, this library includes 29,911 book titles, 8,337 theses, 380,011 electronic resource titles, and 470 visual and audio resource titles.
In 2001, with the integration of the medical school library into the central library and documentation center, the central library from the beginning of its work, access to the newset medical and paramedical information sources [with the aim of increasing the level of scientific awareness and increasing research and research works in the field of medical sciences and related fields in the shortest time] using the newset equipment and library technologies to provide services to clients. For this purpose, in order to improve performance, it has purchased the newset information sources and CDs related to medical journals and the newset Latin and Persian books through international and domestic exhibitions.
Dormitory: Administration of dormitory affairs is responsible for providing accommodation and comfort facilities for students. Non-native students can use these facilities.
