Introduction
Tabriz University of Medical Sciences was established in 1947 [at the end of the Second World War]. The initial location of this university is the Boys’ College in Daneshsara Square, and its first president was Mr. Jahan Shahlu.
Currently, there are 8500 students, 716 professors, 875 faculty members and 220 foreign students working in this university. Based on research done , 3543[1310 journal articles و 2233 congress articles ] scientific articles in domestic publications and congress , 21477 international articles were also extracted from this center. This center is the owner and publisher of 6 specialized magazines, and 12 congress have been organized by the university.
