Hormozgan University is one of the universities of the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, which is located in Bandar Abbas city, the capital of Hormozgan province, and is located on the 9th kilometer of the Bandar Abbas-Minab road. Introduction
Hormozgan University was established in the Fajr decade of 1370 based on the resolution of the Higher Education Development Council on 7/10/1370 and with the permission to set up 6 educational fields at the undergraduate level (industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics department, physics department, Persian literature department) and Transfer of Hormozgan Technical School (affiliated to Shiraz university) they started their educational activity in 1371.2
The collection of fields in use by the university is active in an infrastructure of over 55,000 square meters (office 6,000 square meters, dormitory 2,000 square meters, educational, research and cultural 29,000 square meters).
Currently, 5,500 students and 500 professors are working in this center. Based on the analysis, this center has published 4,752 scientific articles in domestic journals and conferences. The conference was organized by Hormozgan University. In addition, 2519 internationally valid articles have been extracted from this center. In 1402, Hormozgan University researchers have published most of their articles with the keywords “Persian Gulf” and “Covid-19”.

The campus dormitory with a capacity of 620 people welcomes you dear ones. This hostel is for boys and has 108 rooms. Shahid Zakari (Palaysh) boys’ dormitory with a capacity of about 200 people and 2 blocks, 1 block of 14 suites for 6 people and 8 blocks of 18 people, with a computer site and a library, are provided in a self-governing manner, and Fatemieh dormitory with a capacity of about 600 people in the form of suites.
