Introduction
Qom University of Technology at a glance, is located in the holy city of Qom, which is recognized as one of the important centers for religious sciences in Iran and the world due to its scientific and religious institutions, consistently producing great religious scholars. Additionally, the city’s position on the main communication route of the country’s industrial provinces, along with the establishment of seven industrial towns and four industrial zones, and its rich mineral reserves, has led to the rapid growth of industrial centers and clusters, making it a new industrial hub in Iran.
Therefore, to support the growing industry of the province and train specialized human resources, Qom University of Technology was established in 2008. It currently comprises three faculties: Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Technical Engineering, with distinguished faculty members, an efficient administrative team, and creative students, advancing towards the development of a knowledge-based economy and value creation.

Welfare Facilities
The area of this university is very small, covering 31,800 square meters. Initially, its educational space was 4,000 square meters, but due to construction by the new university administration, this space has increased by 30%. However, to grow the university in the coming years and attract more students, there is a need for a university with standard educational facilities. Officials hope that by preparing and constructing the main university site on a 24-hectare land located at kilometer 9 of the Qom-Tehran highway, this issue will be resolved.
Qom University of Technology has a sports hall named Shahid Shahriari with an area of 450 square meters. Additionally, it has rented another sports hall near the university for student use. In September 2020, the university opened its artificial grass field covering 1,250 square meters.

Restaurants nearby, such as Mahban Restaurant and Reyhoon Restaurant, are places that students usually choose for meals.
