Mazandaran State University is one of the most prestigious universities in the fields of basic sciences, engineering sciences and economics in Iran, and it is also the largest higher education center in Mazandaran province, which started its official activity in 1358. In this article, we focuse on the subject of studying at Mazandaran University.
Introduction
With more than 47 years of history, Mazandaran University has been able to improve its scientific position by increasing the quantity and quality of its education and admits a large number of students every year. It has also been recruiting international students since 1380. The area of the land is 4000 hectares, the area of the buildings is 150 thousand square meters, the area of the educational building is 58 thousand square meters, the educational space is 12 square meters.
There are 13580 students, 783 international students, 350 faculty members (37 professors, 88 associate professors, 200 assistant professors and 24 instructors) and a number of licensed teachers working in this center. Based on research, Mazandaran University has published 11563 scientific articles in domestic publications and conferences (3714 journal articles and 7849 conference articles), 6078 internationally valid articles. 19 conferences have been organized by Mazandaran University. This center is also the owner and publisher of 13 specialized magazines.

Achievements
After four decades since the establishment of Mazandaran University, one of the achivement of this center is the internationalization of two faculty members, Professor Jahanbakhsh Rauf and Professor Reza Orjani, who were included in the list of international scientists. It also won the sixth best city university in 2013.
Welfare Amenities
