This achievement is attributed to collaboration with experienced and renowned professors in national and international arenas, effective connections with major universities worldwide, and the recruitment of top students across the country. The involvement of professors and specialists in the fields of chemical engineering, oil, and gas, along with collaboration with leading experts from other disciplines, has further enhanced the growth of this faculty and increased its impact on the quality of life and the advancement of the industry.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Currently, the Faculty of Chemical, Oil, and Gas Engineering, with more than 30 full-time faculty members, 18 equipped educational and research laboratories, several research institutes, and scientific hubs, holds a special position in the realm of scientific, research, and consulting activities in the country, thanks to its proximity to the oil and gas industries in the southern region. The educational groups of Chemical Engineering and Petroleum Engineering are active at the undergraduate, master&#8217;s, doctoral, and post-doctoral levels, while the Gas Engineering group operates at the master&#8217;s level.<\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This faculty welcomes young students and researchers in the fields of process design, process separation, modeling, simulation and process control, environment, polymers, thermodynamics and catalysts, energy engineering, gas processing and transportation, hydrocarbon reservoirs, and exploration and production. Today, many graduates of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Oil, and Gas are working as managers and specialists in industries or as faculty members at important scientific centers in the country, and they have been able to effectively apply their knowledge for the development and progress of the country.<\/p>\r\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Isfahan_University_of_Technology\"><\/span>Isfahan University of Technology<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" dir=\"ltr\">Currently, this educational group has 120 undergraduate students and 25 graduate students.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" dir=\"ltr\">The petroleum engineering department currently has two research and teaching laboratories, and new laboratories are under construction in the development plan of the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"text-align-justify\" dir=\"ltr\">There is a strong connection between the faculty of this educational group and the industry. In this context, a contract for studying the Marun oil field has been entrusted to the <a href=\"https:\/\/edutsn.com\/isfahan-university-of-technology\/\">Isfahan University of Technology<\/a>, with the aim of increasing the oil recovery factor from this important oil resource, led by the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering.<\/p>\r\n<h3 dir=\"ltr\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Sharif_University_of_Technology\"><\/span>Sharif University of Technology<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span lang=\"FA\">Chemical engineering and petroleum engineering are unique among other engineering disciplines because chemical and petroleum engineers require a thorough understanding of chemistry in addition to physics and mathematics. This necessity has led to the distinction of this branch of engineering from other engineering fields. On the other hand, as chemical and petroleum industries grow larger and more complex, the work of chemical and petroleum engineers increasingly demands a stronger and deeper scientific and practical foundation. <\/span><span dir=\"LTR\">.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span lang=\"FA\">Currently, research groups in the field of petroleum engineering are active in areas such as hydrocarbon reservoirs, drilling, and oil production, while research groups in chemical engineering focus on biotechnology, polymers, thermokinetics and catalysts, environmental issues, transfer and separation phenomena, process design, control, and biomedical engineering. The faculty currently has 6 educational laboratories and 41 active research laboratories. Graduates from this faculty have the opportunity to continue their activities in various sectors of industry and academia both domestically and internationally. The goal of this faculty is to train specialized and experienced personnel to meet the scientific and industrial needs of the country and to collaborate with knowledge-based companies to create the
